📘 1. Overview

GameTokens.biz is a virtual-only Game Token (GT) system built around avatar identities (for example, Second Life avatars) instead of real-world identity. We focus on:

  • Tracking GT balances, credit limits, and avatar credit scores inside a closed system.
  • Recording in-world and web-based interactions tied to your avatar UUID.
  • Keeping the data we collect limited, purposeful, and aligned with how you use the platform.

By using GameTokens.biz, you agree to this Privacy Policy in addition to our Terms of Service.

🧾 2. Data We Collect

We focus on avatar-level data, not real-world identity data. Depending on how you use the system, we may collect:

2.1 Avatar & account data.

  • Avatar name and display name (e.g., “JaneDoe Resident”).
  • Avatar UUID or other virtual-world unique identifier.
  • Basic profile fields you provide (such as region, preferred contact method, or time zone).

2.2 GameTokens.biz usage data.

  • GT wallet balance, GT transactions, and history of credit card or avatar loan usage.
  • Avatar credit score changes and reasons (on-time GT payments, missed payments, etc.).
  • Applications for GT products (shopping credit cards, avatar loans, rewards programs).

2.3 Login and security data.

  • Avatar UUID used to authenticate your account.
  • Avatar Access Code (6–12 character code you set for web login).
  • Session identifiers, login timestamps, IP address, browser type, and basic device information.

2.4 In-world device and partner data.

  • Which in-world kiosks, HUDs, vendors, or partner systems you interact with.
  • GTs earned or spent in partner experiences integrated with GameTokens.biz.
  • Basic metadata from partner platforms used to calculate rewards, spending, or credit history.

2.5 Optional contact data.

In some cases, you may optionally provide contact information (such as an email address or Discord handle) so we can reach you with account updates or support. This is optional and not required for all users or all worlds.

⚙️ 3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to operate, secure, and improve the GameTokens.biz ecosystem. This includes:

  • Creating and managing your avatar wallet, GT balances, and credit products.
  • Calculating and updating your avatar credit score and GT limits.
  • Processing GT transactions, rewards, and repayments.
  • Authenticating web logins using your avatar UUID and access code.
  • Detecting abuse, fraud, or attempts to treat GTs as real-world money.
  • Improving features, stability, and performance of our website and in-world systems.

We do not use your avatar data for real-world credit decisions, and we do not pull real-world credit reports.

4.1 Cookies. We may use cookies or similar technologies to:

  • Keep you logged in during a session.
  • Remember basic preferences (for example, layout or filter choices).
  • Help protect your account from unauthorized access.

4.2 Server logs. Our servers automatically record technical information when you visit the site, such as:

  • IP address, browser type, and pages visited.
  • Date and time of requests and basic error logs.

4.3 Analytics. We may use privacy-conscious analytics to understand how the site is used—mainly in aggregate form. We do not use analytics to build real-world identity profiles of users.

5.1 Within Virtual World Search Inc.

  • We may share avatar-level GT and credit data with other projects owned by Virtual World Search Inc. (such as RealMatch.Social, VMS venues, MintMyShot, and VirtualWorldSearch.com) to operate shared features and rewards.

5.2 With trusted partners.

  • We may share limited, necessary data with approved third-party platforms that integrate GameTokens.biz (for example, to show your GT balance, apply discounts, or record GT rewards).
  • Partners are expected to handle data according to their own policies and any integration agreements with us.

5.3 Legal and safety-related sharing.

  • We may share information when required by law, court order, or a valid legal request.
  • We may disclose information when we believe it is necessary to protect our rights, other users, or to investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents.

5.4 No selling of personal data. We do not sell your avatar data or contact details as a “data broker.”

📦 6. Data Retention

We keep data for as long as it is reasonably necessary to operate GameTokens.biz, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our Terms.

  • GT balances, credit history, and transaction logs may be stored for an extended period, to maintain accurate records of the closed-loop system.
  • Login and security logs are retained for a shorter period, except where needed for security investigations.
  • If you stop using GameTokens.biz, we may retain some data in an archived or anonymized form as permitted by law.

🔐 7. Security Measures

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including:

  • Using avatar UUIDs and access codes instead of real-world IDs wherever possible.
  • Server hardening, access controls, and monitoring on our web infrastructure.
  • Limiting internal access to systems that store GT balances and credit history.

No system can be guaranteed 100% secure. You are responsible for safeguarding your avatar access code, logging out from shared devices, and avoiding untrusted viewers or scripts that may try to capture your credentials.

🧭 8. Your Choices & Controls

Depending on your region and local laws, you may have rights related to your data, such as:

  • Requesting a summary of the avatar data we hold about you.
  • Requesting corrections to inaccurate account information.
  • Requesting that we deactivate or close your GameTokens.biz account.

Some requests (such as deletion) may be limited by our need to maintain basic records of GT transactions for fraud prevention and system integrity. We will explain any such limitations if they apply.

🚸 9. Children & Age Limits

GameTokens.biz is intended for users who are old enough to participate in the virtual worlds where it operates (for example, Second Life residents who meet Linden Lab’s age requirements).

We do not knowingly collect information from children who are not allowed on those platforms. If we learn that an ineligible user has an account, we may deactivate the account and adjust any stored data as needed.

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally to reflect changes in our systems, features, or legal obligations. When we do:

  • In some cases, we may highlight significant changes inside the member area or on the homepage.
